Equipment:

• PC workstations for development and testing of digital components and their software
• Modern instruments for measuring and testing
• Development environments (hardware and software) for the FPGA Design

Focus of education and research:

• Structured design and simulation of ASICs
• VHDL-based design of digital components and systems
• Handling and use of digital programmable circuits (FPGA, CPLD and EPROM)
• Application and use of tools for computer-aided design systems
• Implementation of peripheral devices using standard interfaces
• Application of microcontrollers for smart sensors, distributed control and measurement systems with special requirements
