Lab for Distributed Systems

Equipment:

  • 10 multimedia workstations
  • 2 servers
  • Software for Distributed and Mobile Computing


Focus of education and research:

  • Development of distributed applications
  • Development of server-side applications in PHP, J2EE and .NET
  • Development of mobile applications
  • Applications built on Web services
  • Development with frameworks and web frameworks
  • Conducting of software engineering projects


As a partner of the Visual Paradigm Academic Partner Program, Fachhochschule Brandenburg was granted license for the following modeling software for use in educational purposes - VP-UML, SDE-VS, SDE-EC, SDE-NB, SDE-IJ, BPVA, AG.
