The Department of Informatics and Media has one Study and Examination Regulation for every offered degree programme. These provide all neccesary and relevant information regarding your course of study.
The regulation provides a complete compilation as a guideline to plan your studies: required and elective courses with details on semester periods per week, type of examinations, weighting of your final grades and the acknowledged credit points according to the European Credit Transfer System.
Please also note that the exam regulation cover all regulations regarding your enrolment, individual examinations and final thesis paper.
For the Informatics and Applied Informatics degree programmes you have to select your major modules no later than at the end of the lecture period of the 2nd Bachelor semester. These can be selected from the following areas: Digital Media, Intelligent Systems and Network Computing. For the assignment of a major at least 4 of the enroled required elective modules (i.e. 20 CP) have to be related to the field of your major. Possible majors are declared in the Diploma Supplement.
