The graduate degree is an event that needs to be celebrated! At the Department of Informatics and Media we have been celebrating with our graduates since 2004 in an annually held "diploma event" in the late summer.
The programme begins with a larger number of oral presentations of the graduates final theses, the so-called defenses before opening the ceremony with a speech from Dean Prof. Dr. Jochen Heinsohn.
Finally the graduates ceremonially receive their certificates. Afterwards we conclude the evening with a champagne reception and a little snack in the lobby of the Informatics and Media Department.
