• weather 
  in general, the weather in June in Germany as well as in the region is mostly quite nice with a lot of sunshine and temperatures ranging between 20 and at maximum 30° C (68 to 86 °Fahrenheit). However, weather changes with rain and thunderstorms and temperatures as low as, say 15° C, are also possible. Therefore, it is recommanded to prepare for warm and sunny, but just in case, also for a little bit of bad weather, as well.
  (nice forecasts, based on the previous years, were also made for the August 1999 eclipse of the sun - and it was one of the worst days in August for most parts of Germany).
