The 327th Wilhelm and Else Heraeus-Seminar on Atmospheric Optics will be held June 13-17, 2004 at the Physikzentrum near Bonn and Cologne in Bad Honnef / Germany. The Physikzentrum is the conference center of the German Physical Society (DPG), the worlds largest scientific community in physics with more than 45 000 members in 2002. It hosts about 60 meetings each year.
It is located in an old building and allows accomodation including meals for about 60 people. Single and double rooms are available, most of which so far have no bathroom, yet. Currently, a new modern lecture hall is nearly completed and modernization of the rooms are planned in the near future.

Available facilities will include: overhead projectors (landscape format preferred) and two projection systems for display from computer screens (video beamer). A VCR can also be provided upon request. Slide projectors for 35-mm slides will be available for the slide show on Tuesday.
Powerpoint is supported. Either files may be transferred to the display computer before the day's sessions begin in order to avoid swapping computers between talks or the own notebooks may be used. In this case, speakers must also test the system sufficiently in advance. The projection system to be used is brand new and of high quality, so good presentations can be expected via Powerpoint.
Slides (35 mm) for the
informal slide show should be brought to Dave Lynch
shortly before of after dinner on tuesday so they may be
loaded for the session. The slide show will take place in the smaller
second lecture hall at the Physikzentrum. If someone
wants to show slides during the other talks, please contact M Vollmer before the
start of the conference.
